Fuel Credit Cards: Compare Savings and Surcharges

Fuel benefits are usually governed by transaction eligibility, monthly caps and surcharge rules. Compare the net value for your normal fuel spend.

Explore credit-card comparisons

Check eligible fuel transactions

Review eligible outlets, transaction amounts, payment method and whether the benefit is limited to a partner network. Merchant classification can affect eligibility.

Read surcharge-waiver terms

Check the waiver rate, minimum and maximum transaction value, monthly cap, taxes and any excluded fees. A surcharge waiver may not cover every related charge.

Compare annual cost

Estimate annual benefit from typical spending and subtract card fees. Do not refuel more or choose a costlier outlet only to earn a card benefit.

Keep the decision grounded: compare only terms you can confirm in the issuer’s current product page, fee schedule and cardholder terms. FinSmarter does not issue cards or guarantee approval.
For cardholder rights and official regulatory guidance, see the Reserve Bank of India credit-card FAQs and the RBI Master Direction on Credit Cards. Always verify the issuer’s latest terms.
